ENJOY CYCLING FROM THE MOUNTAINTOP DOWN TO THE VALLEY With a network of 200 kilometres of road cycling routes, 177 signposted mountain bike, cross-country and enduro tracks, three downhill tracks ending in a Northshore zone and also dedicated e-bike routes, Crans-Montana offers a limitless playground and a variety of possibilities for all cyclists. And what do all of these routes have in common? Impeccable signposting, a variety of natural scenery and breathtaking panoramic views! Several «Swiss Bike Hotel» certified establishments and lots of specialised shops and qualified guides welcome visitors in search of a cycling holiday in a sunny region. Everything is easy to get to from Sierre thanks to the Sierre-Montana funicular, which carries bikes at no extra cost, and the cable cars which enable you to reach the mountains 365 days a year.

In total, no less than 200 km of routes have been mapped out, with a total of 15,800 m of elevation gain. With routes ranging from 2 km to 55 km, and elevation gain from 300m to 4,200m, there are routes for all levels and tastes, with four notable legendary uphills, and different routes from the famous Trail des Patrouilleurs race. Whether you’re in training or simply trying a new sport, the Crans-Montana trail routes will exceed all your expectations, taking you through exceptional natural surroundings with views that will take your breath away.
A Summer-paradise for Families
Ycoor is the centre of attention during the summer season, as all of the area are transformed each summer into a relaxed and friendly village square, with basketball courts, bowls, unihockey pitches, tennis tables, electric cars for children and a brand new mini-golf course. The Orangery, an ideal place for celebrations, will also make an appearance, and will mark the summer’s events. And for those missing winter, the indoor ice rink will be open to the public. Don’t miss out on a visit to la Maison de Bibi, the house of Crans-Montana’s famous marmot mascot. Bibi welcomes children of all ages to his home. Lots of entertainment and free activities such as crafts, games and a library corner are available, all under the guidance of Crans-Montana Tourism and Congress staff.
Action-Parcs
Crans-Montana spoils freestylers with its three parks! The parks’ new layout, endorsed by Nicolas Vuignier, freestyle professional and ambassador for Crans-Montana, forms part of a project devoted to riders which invites them not only to go out and have fun in the wakepark, bikepark and snowpark, but also to share their photos, videos and experiences on a new website.
A LEGENDARY SNOWPARK Freestyle fans, you'll find one of the best snowparks in Switzerland in Crans-Montana. Experienced riders and freestylers will find one of 10 permanent Olympic-size half-pipes in the world, as well as lots of rails, boxes, jumps and more. An airbag and an « easy snowpark » section allow beginner skiers and snowboarders to be introduced to the pleasures of freestyle.
A WAKEPARK IN THE MOUNTAINS Whether you choose a wakeboard, wakeskate, water skis or even an inflatable, come and cool down by riding in one of the highest wakeparks in the world in a breathtaking setting. Due to the proximity to the Escalator, the Arnouva cabin and the Funiculaire to Sierre and the short distances, you can easily reach the town centers of Montana and Crans with good shopping facilities as well as the mountains for wintersports, extensive hikes and walks without a vehicle. The buses around Montana, the elevator and the Arnouva cabin are available free of charge in the summer months, bus 432 stops in front of the residence.
